CASTING DOUBT Axanar’s attorneys tried to sow doubt on Star Trek’s origins, but ended up withdrawing their request for documentation for the show’s chain of ownership.

Biggest Day on Twitter this month, was October 9, the day of our report on court filings in which the defense gave up on its challenge to Star Trek’s ownership, and a behind-the-scenes peek at how defense and plaintiffs’ attorneys squabbled over discovery, with an audience of 5,617 (8% of total impressions for the month — nearly twice the daily average).
